Singapore traders are turning bearish on cloves from Madagaskar.
Current price;Indonesia Cloves (Lal Pari) good quality USD 4600 ex. Singapore warehouse Madagaskar Cloves around USD 4000/4400 depending on quality.

Cloves stocks are building up in mombasa with smugglers unable to sell cargo from pemba- Zanzibar. Cargo avalibale at 240 kshs/kg (3,200 $) in mombasa. Amid falling prices due to madagaskar prices hitting 3,000 $ mark. Even the monoply in Zanzibar is forced to reduce prices and is now quoting 3,600 $ f.o.b. Khalfan. Zanzibar
Well it looks like the clove market will see another bottom.I do not think Indonesia can sustain being pricy.The price difference of USD 2000 MT is huge between Indonesian and Madagascar cloves.
