World pepper prices today  continue to increase in Indonesia and remain stable in other markets.

This week, IPC commented that the market has a negative trend when no country reported a decrease. In particular, domestic and international prices of Indian and Indonesian pepper both increased.

Currently, the supply of pepper from Vietnam and Brazil has decreased due to the impact of the El Nino phenomenon, thereby causing prices to increase. Vietnam's export pepper market is also making major adjustments, with new markets appearing, including Pakistan, Germany, Korea, and India, all recording 3-digit growth.

Thus, world pepper prices on May 4, 2024 are still increasing in Indonesia compared to yesterday.
